The Wassaic Project is a public art project housed in an old Dutchess County, NY farm. These doors that now belong to the art community, where once open as a stockyard auction house.

For the next two months I am documenting Hazon’s Climate Change Campaign.  The Campaign is asking for the Jewish community to come together and institute policy for the next 7 years that will lessen our impact on the Earth.  Hazon is loading up its Topsy-Turvy vegi-oil bus and hitting the road.  We will be stopping across America to teach Jewish communities how they can work with the land to curb their effects and help restore natural balance.

Nigel Savage, of the Jewish non-profit group Hazon, on the phone in the vegi-oil Climate Change tour bus. The Climate Change Campaign aims to change policy in 7 years which will reduce our impact on the Earth. The bus kicked off its nation wide campaign at the United Nations Friday afternoon.

Sukkot
